Humanity Unites Brilliance

Charlie had returned from a Mineseeker Foundation trip to Mozambique in 2006 where he has met the great missionary Heidi Baker and supported an immediate feeding need she had after floods and cyclones had hit the country causing tens of thousands of instant refugees seeking higher ground.

In that moment of crisis Charlie used his connections at Nourish the Children in Utah and the founder of Feed the Children, Larry Jones in Oklahoma to cause 6 million dollars worth of food to be donated. The issue was the food, an ideal nutrient dense dry porridge, was inventoried in a China factory. The patrons of Mineseeker and Sole of Africa created the transport solutions and wavered all the logistic issues and Heidi and her based of caregivers got the food to the starving. In that moment the Humanity of Charlie’s rollerdex connections were united in their brilliance for the sole sake of Humanity.

A month later Charlie was driving on the 405 by the Getty Museum when the three words Humanity, Unites, Brilliance downloaded to him as the words for an organization that could tackle not only food, but water , education, micro enterprise, womens empowerment and agro land development and sustainability.

2006 has become 2024 yet the meetings, words, and importantly the actions of Humanity Unites Brilliance resonates even louder today as the Planet continues to cry.

Charlie conceived a very contentious model in 2006. It was not a non profit as Mandela had taught him and others that the USA and Europe had given an estimated $3 trillion in aid to Africa so they they money alone would not create a sustaining outcome. Importantly they knew that many charities did not work together, worried about were the next donor dollar would come from. So Charlie conceived a for profit business empowerment (receiving) and impact giving (giving) model that allowed people to pay to joinHumanity Unites Brilliance, with 40% going into effective chosen impact partners In Africa, USA, Canada, South America, and the UK., 40% was distributed as an affiliate compensation for growing the community and 20% was left for expanding and running the Company. Charlie also did not want to own thew company and he retained 6% of the stock, with 5 co founders owning 3% each

It was a ground breaking and miraculously successful project with the greatest reward, beyond the impact and friendships forged, being that he met Daniella who had been influenced by what she witnessed and had joined the HUB community in the UK.
