HOPE Farms - Multi Cropping, Low Impact Farming & Product Manufacturing for Local Markets and Export.

Liberia has a GDP of $USD850,000. It imports everything and exports nothing. Boats arrive full and leave empty.

The country pays for and imports $100 million in rice, 50 Million in fish from the Chinese (fished off the African coasts), and 50 million from past due date frozen chicken from Europe and North America.

Influence Foundation founders have worked with Kimmie Weeks to develop and project manage Hope Farm to reverse these unsustainable and unnecessary trends and bring Liberia into a future - one where agriculture and food production supports the economy and health of the Nation. Kimmie is one of Africa’s most prominent and recognized youth leaders, who was the National Orator of Liberia at 24 at the invitation of President Ellen Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. It has been our honor to work with Kimmie and his teams on multiple projects over 20 years since the end of the Civil Wars.

Hope Farm uses Daniella Hunter’s multi cropping techniques focusing on low impact crops that require little irrigated water, producing healthy crops and flours. Stage 1 was seeded in 2021 with plantain and yuca dominating the initial fields. Stage 2 is now expanding to `150 acres and adding cooperative farming with small farmers able to lease and farm 5 and 10 acre sites with Hope proving a central collection and processing facitiltes.
