How 10 billion are to be fed by 2050.

How are 380,000,000 people influenced to not be climate refugees by 2030

LAND AND FOOD PRODUCTION AGRO FUNDING & CURRENT ACTION.

Influence Foundation is focused and committed to help activate how we can all feed 10 billion people on our precious planet by 2050. The only way we currently see this as possible is to:

  • Reduce food waste;

  • Move to a plant-focused diet;

  • Return land ownership to indigenous peoples

  • Support cooperatives produce more tonnage per hectare on their lands.

We also recognize that there are to be 380,000,000 plus “climate refugees” by 2030 and because the compounded cost per current refugee is close to $25,000 per annum and adding the maths would bring an overall cost to over $9 Trillion by 2030, we believe no government has any ability to deal with this number peacefully and economically. How are we to succeed in reducing migration numbers:

  • “The grass can not be be seen to be greener on the other side of the field or border.”

  • The devastation of climate crisis caused by multiple issues such as sea levels rising and deforestation has to be curbed now.

Access to water will be critical and so we focus on crops such as yucca, plantain and coconut that do not need much irrigated water.

IF recognizes that currently food distribution costs is potentially crippling the food chain and cost of food, with food companies even compromising on the quality of their food ingredients to keep prices affordable in shops.

Regenerative multi-crop organic farming practices are critical to increase diverse yields per field and to allow farmers a higher fair wage.

Dramatic changes to the culture of how we eat take place when our food is derived from disruptive, alternative ingredients supplied by self-sustaining organic farmers who own their own land, especially in Africa.

IF is committed to influencing developing countries, whose small rural farmers often live in near poverty. Our current work through Hope Farm in Africa and Sanctum Xochen in the Mayan Yucatan includes stimulating social enterprise farming programs , organized cropping and alternative flour milling in conjunction with influencing the use of plant crops as the best solution for the Western Word’s growing epidemic around gluten and grain.

Influence Foundation has multiple inter-connected campaigns

  1. GUIDING LOW GDP COUNTRIES to INCREASE EXPORTS AND NOT BE OVER RELIANT FOR FOOD AID OR IMPORTS.

  2. EMPOWER INDIGENOUS SMALL FARMERS TO OWN THEIR OWN LAND & EFFECTIVELY CROP NATIVE CROPS

  3. STIMULATE AWARENESS FOR ALTERNATIVE FLOURS AS IDEAL INGREDIENTS FOR HEALTHY FOODS TO COMBAT GROWING EPIDEMICS CAUSED BY GLUTEN AND GRAIN.

  4. INFLUENCE ALL OF US TO RECOGNIZE DIGESTIVE HEALTH, WHILST EATING GREAT FOOD.

Participating Countries

Africa

Liberia

A country abundant with organic plant crops, yet a country that imports $200,000,000 in rice ( 1/4 of its GDP) - Cargo ships arrive full and leave empty.

Influence Foundation is working with the government through the Ministry of Water and Energy led by Kimmie Weeks, whose own district once was the home of American Firestone Company and British Steele.

HOPE FARM is our current project. Funded as an Incubator pilot in 2021

Yucatán

It is here that we have conducted most of our initial regenerative alchemy led by Daniella Hunter, farmed at the Sanctum Xochen ranch in the middle of the Yucatán. Daniella also has sourced from farmers all over Mexico for her Sanara Way menus.
